I agree with you on the pictures, I've been wanting to hang this one and some of his other ones in my bedroom, seems fitting. :)
Hi...well that is a tough question..lol. I have this habit of never stopping a book once I get started...I just drudge through. I heard recently about a womans new year resolution to never do this and to just put it down..but so far I have not accomplished this..lol. Anyway about your question....I also almost put it down because I found it not boring but something I was just not interested in reading...although I am a Christian I still did not really enjoy it. I felt like I had to finish the book because of all the positive remarks concerning it..but to recommend it to someone ....I just do not think I would. Let me know if you do finish it and your opinion..I am curious..have a good day!
Hi Kbest, welcome to Play Book Tag! Our tag for October: England. If you want to get or make some recommendations, check out the thread October tag: reading plans and suggestions! Once you finish an England book, post a review on the thread October tag; our collective reads for our shelf. We will be announcing the new tag for November in a few short days so keep on the look out for that!As an added incentive to read the monthly tag, we “raffle” off an Amazon gift card for every thousand posts we reach. One of the requirements to qualify though is you have to have read a book for the current months tag!We also organize larger games every couple of months or so. We have just started a new game, Lay It On, so you will be seeing lots of discussion about it. Unfortunately, the game is already underway and we aren’t adding new players. If you are interested in the large games though, we will be starting a new one after the holiday season! For answers to other commonly asked questions, please look over the FAQ for new members which is pinned to the top of our discussions. If you have any questions about PBT please don't hesitate to ask me!See you on PBT!Happy reading, Nicole
I have been listening to the Crimson Rose Series. It is surprisingly good!
I actually Haven't read Queen of the South yet. I have a horrible habit of randomnly buying books off the discount table because of their beautiful covers. :) Will let you know when I get to it though. I'm currently reading Anna Karenina, you?
A couple of other friends had similar reactions. It is offically off my list and I'm a better man for it. Thanks so much. Again, would love to return the favor. Dave (Garcon)
Thanks for reaching out. lets be book pals. I like the books we have in common. I have not read 3 cups of tea yet. Was it one of your favorites? Dave (Garcon)
wow! You have really added quite a few books! I'm impressed! I know that you didn't like Wicked anymore than I did.
Hi..seems we have a lot in common in our selection of books......can I add you as a friend
