I am a self-declared book nut. I cannot not read. I have to have at least two or three books to read at any given time. While I seem to gravitate towards classics both contemporary and forced upon high schoolers, I don't limit myself to any one kind of book. I love non-fiction almost as much as I love fiction; my favorite books are those about extraordinary people. Mostly, I just appreciate good writing. I have my Bachelor's degree in English Literature, and I am an aspiring writer. At the moment, I am a stay-at-home mother, though I prefer the title CEO of House and Home. If I'm not taking care of my daughter, newborn son, or my husband, I'm reading or writing. Yes, I have a beautiful life. :D

I have read every book on my shelf, though I do not actually own all of them. The inclusion of children's books and young adult lit has to do with my frenzied collecting of books for my two-year-old to read when she gets older. I have this fear that these wonderful books won't be available later, and honestly, I just love having them. :) « less
