    Hello Julia~!♥

*added you back* Thanks for the invite. Wow. It's nice to know an author here on Shelfari. ^.^ Yup, it was French inspired. The words mean 'Beauty Spot'.

About the avatar, it's Ayumi Hamasaki, a Japanese singer-songwriter from Japan.♥ I thought her picture here was lovely so I uploaded it as my avatar. I was getting bored with my old one. *laughs*

I'm not a professional graphic artist. ^.^ I only do it for fun but recently I haven't been doing much because I'm preparing for my thesis which is due this semester. *laughs* It's my final year in college so I really have to push myself hard so I can graduate. As for the graphic novels, I've only been recently intrigued by Neil Gaiman. A lot of my friends recommended his works to me so I thought I'll read his graphic novels soon. ^.^ But I've been a reader of Japanese manga ever since. I guess, the fact that I've read a lot of Japanese graphic novels (manga), influenced my being a non-professional graphic artist. ♥

Anyway Julia, I've noticed you have Linda Howard on your list. I haven't read much romance novels since I only started a couple of months ago. What books by her can you recommend for a new reader like me? And what did you think about Georgette Heyer novels (I saw you have a lot on your shelf)? Did you like them?

Anyway, it was nice meeting you here on Shelfari. Have a nice day! Happy reading and writing. =)

Thanks, I am going to see if they have your books in the bookstore here. I've watched the Sharpe movies a few years ago and I loved it.
I've read “Prince of Danger” by Amanda Scott, that’s how I got into the highlander romance :) I got a couple of her books that I haven’t read yet. So many books so little time.

Hi Julia, , Thanks for the friend request. My avatar is a John William Waterhouse painting called "The Sorceress". I'm a big fan of his work. I did love the book of The Other Boleyn Girl, but I was very disappointed in the movie. I'll be sure to look for your books as I love historical romance. Take care, blessings, ~*~

Hi Julia, thanks for the note you left on my page. I’d like to have a similar dress too and pretend to be a fairy tale princess for one day :)
I have been interested in historical romance lately; I haven’t read any of your books yet. In what era do your novels set in? I’ve also been into highlander romance too, any recommendations?

Hi! Thanks for adding me. :) I haven't read the Sharpe series but I have watched the TV series of it with Sean Bean as Sharpe. For the most part I enjoyed it, though the last episodes felt a l bit uneven and contrived. Have you read the series?

Juila- just read The Courtesan and loved it! It was very well written, and rich in detail, period, place and character. Thanks for suggesting this as my foray into your books.

Hi Julia, I apologize for the late response, I completely missed your post! Eeesh! Yes, please, we'd love to have promos for our Central Booksource customers. I have you listed in the Essence of Romance with 15 titles. Please email me for more info (melanie @ centralbooksource.com). I haven't gotten around to filling my shelf yet but I really should... one book I particularly enjoy is WICKED WAGER. I've re-read it a few times now. ;-)

Congrats for Navy and UT. I am doing well, coming home for Thanksgiving. 9 more school days left... yes, I am counting down. I have been terribly busy this year, I am ready for a break, and turkey! I just wanted to say Hi. (Send Mr. Justiss my love too!)

Yes, I see you're with the Beau Monde. I'm a lurker too. I'm glad you liked my suggestions. Princesses by Flora Fraser is really very good, and I refer to it all the time. Its very hard to find good regency books that are helpful. But if there is something in particular you are looking for, just let me know.

Hi Julia...how odd you wrote! I was going to write to you. To answer your question, have so many books I love, and so many must haves. Their Tempestous Days by Caroly Erickson is very good for Regency. I also lucked out and found the diaries of Sir Thomas Moore...and they are awesome. Looking in the old bookstores are great. Princesses by Antonia Fraser is a great source of information on the life of nobility in the regency period. And of course, Jane Austen. I study the regency from the royal angle. I love Anne Herries--Nicola Cornick---Michelle Styles---they all write Regency. And have you thought of joining the Beau Monde? Just the email loops alone are worth a million bucks. Hurry and get your faster computer. I'll send you a note off line, so we can talk further if you want.

I thought that Into The Storm's plot was isolated, I guess, if I remember it correctly. I definately enjoyed Force of Nature though. I liked the characters better. Action-packed. Witty lines. Lovable characters.

Hi Julia, I did enjoy On Agate Hill, but I picked it up more due to the fact it was written by a favorite author of mine, Lee Smith. I am intersted in the Civil War era, but then again, I like most history. =)Thanks for the book recommendation; I will definately look that up! Happy reading!

So I have an ear infection. Yuck. But I got some medicine so hopefully it will get better soon... Have you ever read any Cherry Adair? I have read 5 of hers so far and in order, they are great. Hope school is going good for you.
