Juicemom

I love to read, and could spend hours in a bookstore! I struggle to find time to read, there are so many things that take me away from books. I recently decided to put reading higher on my list of priorities and managed to read 2 books in less than a week.

Thanks so much for answering my question in the Jodi Picoult group. I also loved the Pact. It was definitely one of my favorites! Talk to you later!

Yes I'd say that Edible Woman is my favourite of Atwood's too. I can't remember if I added it to my shelf.

Almost homeschooling. We are doing part "distributive learning" and part special program for kids who don't fit in with the school system.
We get his work from a teacher and there are some optional classes but it really is wonderful. I just wish I had more time to put into it. I may have him in there full time next year as the funding for the special school has been completely cut for next year.

I totally agree about be re-educated in mythology. Once I started reading it all of the classes in high school came flooding back. Also, I think that for those who have no knowledge regarding the myth characters find themselves going to the library to learn a little more about each of the gods. I just finished the brand new one of this series The Battle of the Labyrinth... EXCELLENT!

Suite Francaise is a great book! And to be listening while you work out - that must make the work out go faster.
