I am a very proud mom, grandma, Sunday School teacher and the author of the Christian Children's book," Illumination Station, The Big Adventure."

I have been the only Sunday School teacher at Martin Luther Church for over 9 years. The age range in my class is from 5-15 years old. The older children have been in my class 8+ years, which makes it very difficult to keep everyone interested and engaged. I prayed nightly for an idea to keep them excited to come to class, and my prayers were answered. God blessed me with the idea for this book and my class really loved it. I was so excited when Tate Publishing Co. sent me a contract!

The marketing road has been a struggle to say the least. I really don't know how to find my niche, but then I think that God brought me this far, so he will take me through it.

I have a sequel titled: "Illumination Station, Hurtful Words" waiting in the wings. I would like to see how successful this book is before I publish another.

My faith in God sustains me through all things and my kids and grand kids fill my life with joy and inspiration. What more could I possibly ask for? « less
