I'm an avid reader who has pretty eclectic tastes. I love mysteries most of all. A good majority of my friends are readers too and I am so glad I married a fellow bibliophile. (We quite often have our own little read-a-thons!) The only thing that's almost as fun as reading is buying books and talking about them with friends.

I am an animal lover and I work with a local cat rescue. My husband and I have our own group of fur babies and along with the two of us they make up our family. We're currently living in NC but in my heart I am, and always will be, a Texas girl. North Carolina is wonderful and I love it here, but Texas is my home. I miss it so badly sometimes I ache.

Well after that little tangent (Homesickness talking, sorry!) let me just finish by saying I love to talk to other readers. I love seeing that others are reading and hearing what book they loved or hated. So this place is just a little slice of heaven, in my book! « less
