My name is J. Graves. I'm a working writer, living at the beautiful Jersey Shore. I write mostly paranormal fiction, with the occasional suspense/thriller thrown in there.

Right now I have two major projects going on. One is a vampire novel and the other is a series of short stories (that I'm hoping to turn into a novel) based on a young woman who chanels the dead for a living.

The idea for the vampire novel came to me through a dream. I woke up and couldn't stop thinking about the dream, so I wrote it down just to get it out of my head, and it ended up taking on a life all it's own. The other project, I'm not sure how I came to create that world.

I hope to be starting work on a third project very shortly. It'll be another vampire-esque project.

When I'm not writing and reading I enjoy spending time online, chatting with my friends, playing video games, and of course going out and enjoying a few drinks with freinds. « less
