    More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks.

    In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.

    I know you guys are in the book business and I'd like to tell you about bang BANG? It's a novel about a center city woman who gets really upset with all the guns on the streets and does something outrageous to make things better. Here's a review:

    *STAR* BookList (published by the American Library Association)
    . . . her close friend is shot in the street, . . . . Interviewed by a reporter at the scene, Paula later discovers that her grief-stricken words, taken out of context, are being used by a shady senator and the gun industry to promote the pro-firearm agenda. Suddenly finding herself the unwitting—and very public—proponent of a political stance she abhors, Paula embarks on a decidedly offbeat, one-woman vigilante crusade to bring the gun trade to its knees . . . the book is filled with anger and raw urgency. The characters are tough and believable, and the dialogue positively sings. In many ways it’s the literary equivalent of a Tarantino movie: edgy, streetwise, and a little arrogant (don’t expect a balanced look at the subject of gun control), with a strong and determined female protagonist. Brilliant might be too big a word for this novel but not by much.

    Sorry for being so late but i was busy last weeks. Well i try to read literature but do not know wether well rounded or not. Regarding stories, I actually till now have writtent research papers only. No formal attempt to write stories or compile my poetry but thinking of doing somehting on these lines, in future, may be in very long future. Anyway, your page is interesting! Would like to have further exchnage of notes and ideas wiht you.
