I'm a HS English teacher who definitely has a book addiction. I'm also one of those freaks who keeps a notebook with a list of the books I've read. Slowly, but surely, I'll add the titles as I find old lists and/or read them.
I'm finding that as I approach my 30s, I'm embracing the many things I am and love more so than ever. Reading has helped me to do this both by creating a world of introspection and giving me new ideas that I may not have found if I didn't have a reading life. Some of the things I love and do include: practicing yoga (one of the most empowering journeys any woman can embark on), designing and creating beaded jewelry, writing, black and white AND digital photography, scrapbooking/journaling, cooking and baking, walking/hiking, playing golf, spending time with my three amazing dogs (two boston terriers and a boxer), and goofing off with my husband!
Having a reading life has enhanced every facet of my world...I hope to meet and talk to people who share this attitude and can make reading suggestions to help me continue my journey!
Happy reading!
