They say my writing style is ‘in your face’, ‘brutal’ and ‘offensive’. And that there’s too much gratuitous violence and pornographically sadistic sex. So why do they keep on reading? Maybe it’s the sick humour that makes my fiction popular. Whatever. Just so long as people keep coming back for more.

    Hi Ian,
Your book is doing well on Amazon. Congrats! I changed my profile picture when I visited The Stone wall in New York for the Pride Parade and booksignings. As of 8/17/11 it was featured on Amazon's Bestseller: # 10 in the Kindle store-Hiv-Aids.
Aparently, there are many who believes that this subject is still under-addressed.

Martin, your book "Pop-splat" is a new idea in the erotica genre, and it appears to be a book that I would love to read, therefore I am adding it to my shelf.
My book is my life's confessions and Diaries as a Greenwich Village resident and a participant in the historic Stonewall Inn Raid of June 28, 1969. I was at the Stonewall Inn (a Gay Dancing Bar) on the night of the raid and the arrests. In a police crackdown on Gays, my lover was arrested later that day. The book has Marqius de Sade overtures, as well as humorous male eroticism. (The Confessions and Diaries of a New York Patron of the Greenwich Village Stonewall Inn Raid of June 28, 1969) by Scott G. Brown.

Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES.
The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. June’s BOTM are The God of Small Things by Roy, Wide Sargasso Sea by Rhys and Midnight’s Children by Rushdie. We will be choosing July BOTM soon.
We are also starting something new. It will be a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy which will be a May, June, July read.
