Ward, the Georgina Kincaid series by Richelle Mead, The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and The Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. All VERY GOOD series that include vampires and other preternatural creatures. I'm sure you would enjoy.

I also got hooked on True Blood and read the series, I really like vampires, but I LOVE shifters and weres, I think they are supper possessive alpha males, I didn't see that you've read the Mercedes Thompson series by Patricia Briggs, it's a great series. Mercy Thompson's life is not exactly normal. Her next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she's fixing a VW bus for a vampire. But then, Mercy isn't exactly normal herself she is also a coyote shifter, it has great mystery and more shifters that vampires, just a reccomendation you might enjoy.
