Oh I haven't finished it yet! I am savouring it; could be a long time before I get my next fresh Tamora Pierce fix.

Definitely get going on it as soon as you can; it is fantastic! I am loving it already. I probably would have flipped if I had found out it had just been sitting there! I am loving it so far, be sure to let me know what you think once you've gotten started too!

Same here! I have made myself be content with the fact that I alone in the family have wonderful taste in books. My mom's seem alright and my brother is like your sister except his niche is stuff like "the 78 laws of Power" and easy investing/business books, oh and the ones by that crazy guy from Raleigh, yeah he loves those ones.

So sad! I just went to the friends section because I wanted to get to your page, and you weren't in there yet. :( You should be there now though. :)

I wanted to let you know that I will keep an extra eye on her schedule so that if she is ever swinging by SC I can let you know! (I already check to see if she's ever my way.)

Rockin'! Sweet indeed. She is the most perfect celebrity you can imagine. Treats her fans amazingly!

Tortall has often been like my second home! However I love Emellan almost as much. My favourite character overall is Alanna, my very close second would be Aly and third (in Tortall) would be Kel. My overall third favourite is Tris. She's my favourite in Emellan. My next favourite in Emellan is Sandry.

I know how it can be with friends dude. I tried to give three of my schoolmates, one of them my best friend, a run down of the Song of the Lioness quartet. All the took from that conversation was that by the end Alanna had slept with three guys. Ugh. Way to miss the point. Anyway, anytime I am asked by anyone "What should my daughter/niece/some young female relation read?" I ask if they have read those and if they have read some, I say "more" and if they haven't I write them a list.

Ok so you definitely have to read the Protector of the Small. I loved those!

Tamora Pierce is so nice and so amazing! I couldn't believe how, how stellar she was. She is very friendly. I had all 28 of my books there, well 27 plus my writer's journal which she also signed! I lined up twice (When there's a lineup you're supposed to bring up 3 books at a time.) and got the six that were most important to me signed (she personalized them and all!) then I was just hanging around because I didn't know what else to do at the con and she turns around and sees me and she asked if I had more books to sign and I explained that the other 22 were just there so that they could be near her you know? And she says to me "you know if they're near me I can sign them." And was of course ecstatic and could hardly believe it and I asked if she was sure because I had a lot with me. And she signed them all and another fan and I were able to chat with her for like half an hour. It was I think the highlight of my life so far.

No problem about the double post! I have done that sort of thing loads! I don't mind you following me at all! Do you mind me following you? I checked out your shelf and we seem to have similar tastes, so I think it would be beneficial for both of us!

I'm really excited about Latin club too! Really I'm just excited about Latin in general! I would love to come over next weekend, but I might have to work. I should find out my schedule for next week by Tuesday, and then I will let you know if I can come over. :) I hope so!

I read the summary and it looks REALLY good! :) I am actually taking English 3 online because I don't have room for it in my schedule. :( BUT, I will still be in Latin Club, so no worries!!! :)

Wow - you are definitely a fast reader! Don't you find with some books, you don't want them to end though? I can tell when a book is really good because I start to get a little sad when I'm getting close to the end...and I some times slow down the pace a bit.

I just read the latest release by Charlaine Harris, Dead in the Family. Have you read the Sookie series she wrote? I really enjoy them.

Got some good books lined up for the summer?
