We commonly think of neighbors as the people who live near us, but Jesus meant it to include all mankind - even our enemies! Jesus told His famous parable of the Good Samaritan to make it clear that "love your neighbor" means to love all persons, everywhere - not just our friends, allies, countrymen, etc.:

Thank you Shevelle. I have added your book to my shelf, and hope to read it one day, as these feelings seem pertinent, especially around the holidays. Yet what I am awakening also, is a knowing, that we are all the SOURCE, Goddess and God expressions, and that when I allow and trust the Source in everyone, including me, it takes the pressure off. A friend of mine calls it trusting the free agency in others, that I don't have to do it for them. Earth is a tricky playhouse! Many Blessings on the bright journey! Truly, Jen
