You were asking about the books in The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo series...they all have graphic, abusive and violent scenes. The books and stories are very good, and I watched the movies instead of reading them all. I still watched them because I really liked Lisbeth Salanders character. But be warned they are graphic, and the sexual molestation is hard to watch/read.
I answered "Should I Read This" about the Girl Who Played with Fire and Shelfari sent it before I got to write something. What I wanted to write was:
It looks like you have already read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and that book is way more disturbing than the the last two in the series. So if you could handle the first, the next two are definitely not going to be too disturbing (relatively -- there is still a theme of violence towards women). If you have not read the first book, I would say -- Don't it is seriously disturbing. If you have, read the next two, they do not get any worse, and Lisbeth finally wins -- which is worth it.
I especially like "The End"
you know what? There should be something about Peeta or Gale killing Edward.
Katniss kills Bella!!!
Hi, Rebbeca. I'm so sorry for the late welcome, but I am here to welcome you to the Booktivity group.
Here's how it works: every month a category is voted on by our members. Depending what the category is for that month, you just need to find a word in the title that fits the category, read that book, and come back and post a review of it. OR, sometimes, it is a quality of a book that we are reading for. For instance, right now, in March, we are reading books published before the year 2000. Hope you’ll join us and have fun!
Ohhh. Okay. I get it. That sucks though.
You can try to find it online somewhere. Maybe Scribd.com. I dont' know. Maybe you could also try to download it online from somewhere?
It's such an amazing series, and you shouldn't miss out on the first book in it. :(
Wait, it says that you live in New york city. How can't you find it anywhere? I mean, I live in London, Ontario, and I can find just about any book, anywhere. Department store, book store, even some grocery stores sell books here...
