Hello Hesperus. I think I'm going to start a thread at fiction effect for the publisher's representatives among us. It would be an invitation to talk about some highlights from the past year and some prospects for the year to come. I'm requesting a minimal contribution, but we'd love to hear from you if you're interested. Let me know and I'll start the thread. Happy new year!

I thought you might be interested in a contest that I’m holding. It’s wacky, creative and ‘killer’ fun.

‘Create a Corpse’ Contest lets you name a character in my next suspense novel Divine Justice. Of course, you guessed it—the character dies. So here’s a great way to ‘kill off’ your boss, or childhood bully. ;)

For contest details, just scroll over the following URL, copy and paste into your browser. This contest is for avid readers who’d like to be part of the process. I’ve been getting lots of entries from my Shelfari friends, and I look forward to receiving yours. :)

So here's a question for you: Of all the books that you publish, or perhaps, of all that you personally have read from Hesperus, which is your favorite?

I'm glad to see you've joined the creativity group (or, well, that you joined a while ago) - I hope that we can get some good conversations going. Please feel free to post or start your own discussions.

I love Hesperus Press. Your books are always wonderfully bizzare and usually hard to find, so I want to thank you for making them available. But I must ask, since you are a press, who speaks for your Shelfari profile?

    Hi Ellie,

Thanks for the recommendation. I will add it to my wish list and see if I can get a copy to make its way to my door. Right now I'm about 5 books behind and working a bit too much.

To recommend books, go to that book's page and click the "recommend book" on the left side. Then you can choose who you want to send it to. It's a great way to announce your books to your friends list when you have a new arrival. Those recommendations show up on the recipient's home page.

    Hope that helps.
