I teach 8th and 9th grade English. I love to read, particularly the classics but I'm always willing to read something new. I'm not much of a fan of romances, but I do truly appreciate works such as "Great Expectations" and "The Secret Garden". Currently, I am re-reading Dante's "Inferno" and "Beowulf" with a friend. In the summer, I travel to Orono, Maine where I am currently in the second-to-last year of my graduate work in Literature. I love to travel and am especially fond of Maine. I am happily married and have 4 children - all boys - 3 are my step-kids and one is my own. It's very interesting living in a house of all males, but I really enjoy being able to contribute a little bit of feminine contrast once in a while! « less
