Hi, Thank you for the compliment, I think. I haven't read The Shack yet but I plan on buying it the next time I'm at the store. Right now I'm reading Breaking Dawn, it's kinda freaky...well, really freaky, but it's an interesting read. I'm pretty busy right now with just getting my new horse two days ago and trying to get to know her. When the weather gets colder I'll be reading more. Thanks again.

    Hola!

No problema. LOL You happy- me happy. LOL

    Still working out?

I'm almost finished moving my stuff to storage. Ughh! And put an offer on a house. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me! It's been a hectic week and it's raining. I wish I could just go walk for a few miles...

    Ciao

Ok- what I meant was: that reading a variety of books was just "like ethnic dining." You try different things, sometimes you like them, sometimes you dont. Sometimes they're just ho-hum. This of course was in reference to my recommending a book to you (Pagans & Crhistians). You don't necesarily need to agree with something to read what other people believe or read about.

Now do you get me? *wink*
    Oh well...

Ethnic dining, as in Indian cuisine, Italian cuisine, cuban cuisine, etc. What did you think I meant?

    Anyway, I understand...

I keep having problems with this message board. Most of the items I type can't be seen. I meant to say "Maybe things you don't normally read about..."

Ha ha! I thought maybe you'd be willing to read other things. Maybe things you normally read about. This is shelfari after all. I've had a couple of recommendations. Took up one. I don't agree with everything I read. But at least I'm informed. I'm an avid reader. Have you checked out my shelf?

As with ethnic dining, most times I like it, at times I don't. But I know...

    oh well...

Hola- you might want to check out a book I have on my faves list. It's titled Pagans and Christians. It doesn't badmouth anyone. Really interesting reading. I think you might enjoy reading it.

Let me know if you're willing to give it a shot... smiling* Interesing reading material and not a long read.

    Talk at 'ya later...

It's morrighan. No m though. Same avatar.

I don't know about women liking younger men. Some do I'm sure. And I do get asked out by younger men but they're just not my thing. I like men my own age. I prefer a person with experiences in life.

I guess we can all wish. Let's see, I want a man that's 6 ft 180-200lbs, muscular, green eyes, long hair like fabio or tarzan, and must- must come with lots of cash, maybe a house by the water, and that thinks I'm Venus incarnate. LOL

    Hey Johnny J:

I just read your "about me..." Can you believe it??? Communicating back and forth and hadn't read your shelfari profile? I didn't even know you were open to finding a special someone.

Just a big 'ol question for you, and it's pretty general really. In your profile you state that you are looking someone and age doesn't matter, but then you say "aren't there any younger ladies out there that would enjoy being with an older man?" Why is it that "men" tend to want younger women when there's plenty of women their age? Inquiring minds (me) want to know. And then you say you prefer blondes. Most blondes out there come out of a bottle you know. lol :)

Do you have a myspace profile? If you do, check out my profile, I have one just for fun. You'll know me by the same avatar. I would need to add you...

ciao- men I tell you... lol!

I'm a night owl too, but dawn is too much for me.

I don't know about the other sandwhiches; I've only had their veggie delight and turkey sandwiches. Just today, though, I decided- what the h***, I'll make them myself. And did.

I've been walking 5miles every 2-3 days. I'm actually finally getting used to it :( But even walking by the river, is hot! If I wear regular t-shirts, I'm too hot. But if I wear t-s such as they one on your avatar, I burn :( My shoulders and neck are burned. Ouch! And I'm wearing the children's sunlotion.

I'm not good at aerobics :( Walking will have to do.

    Get some shut eye...

What are you doing up at 4a.m!?

You know I hear the best time to work out is in the morning. But I'm not a morning person and prefer to "work out" (and I use the term loosely) in the afternoon.

My weekend was not what I had hoped for, it rained all through the weekend. I couldn't go walking. AND it was so humid. Gag! But I did do quite a few different versions of sit ups as I worked on my tummy.

I hope your weekend was better than mine.
I tried aerobics in the past. It didn't work out. I couldn't get the hang of it and I kept getting left behind during work outs. Seems I couldn't catch up :( Took way too long to learn the routines. Oh well.

I do try and eat healthy and love the veggie delight sandwhiches from Subway. Have you tried it? It's like a salad on bread (wheat). No meat- just cheese. But once a week, I splurge and have a great meal. Steak, buffalo wings, steak burger...

Now I'm hungry. Going to get that veggie sandwhich.

    LOL- you have me laughing....

Well I did say, (lol) I thought they were both the same God. Besides, we're supposed to have been made in his/her image. Hence... (?)

But seriously, walking is good for loosing weight. I don't see much difference in the weight, but I do see the difference in the clothes. Everything is starting to fit looser. And of course, muscle does weight more than fat. I'm happy with the results. I've added 3lb weights to my walking. The ones you wrap around your arm or legs. This way, when I'm working my legs, I'm also working my arms. I walk on a bike trail by the river, so nature really helps by soothing and clearing my mind.

Well- me and my stocking fee will catch you later.

Life's good. But a little hectic. My landlord is selling the house, I'm looking to purchase a house and looking for an apt to rent in the meantime. Oh what fun...

Have you heard of the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer? I joined a month & 1/2 ago and had our walkathon last weekend. I walked 39 1/2 miles!!! I actually didn't think I was going to be able to, but I did. This we do in addition to collecting donations for the organization. I was exhausted and veg out for 2 days.

But one thing came out of this (in addition to the funds raised), I'm getting used to walking for fitness. It's getting easier. Yesterday I walked 5 miles. I'm going to try and do this 3 X a wk.

Yesterday I began reading a new book! I started reading, "When God was a Woman." I thought you'd get a kick out of that... :) LOL

    Hope your well.
