Through some diabolical glitch at Shelfari I ended up with TWO accounts and could only sign in to the newly created one. So I've had to transfer all of my books and, more or less, start from scratch. In the process I've also lost all of my "friends" and "followers". I've tried to get Shelfari to correct the situation to no avail. They keep referring me to Amazon and the Amazon "help" people claim never to have heard of Shelfari. Hope you'll continue to "follow" me at my new location. Gunter

Hallo Frauke T!
Ich muss gestehen, dass ich noch nie ein Harry Potter Buch gelesen habe. Meistens lese ich non-fiction über den Zweiten Weltkrieg und die Zeit danach. Mein Lieblingsschriftsteller in Deutschland ist Arno Surminski und in den Staaten ist es Bill Bryson. Vor zwei Wochen habe ich "Der Zauberberg" von Thomas Mann gelesen. Leider war es so deprimierend, dass ich voraussichtlich Jahre benötige, um mich zu entschliessen, weitere Werke von ihm zu lesen.
Kennen Sie schon mein Buch "Weeds Like Us?" Ein "sequel" sollte Ende dieses Jahres oder Anfang nächsten Jahres herauskommen.

I'm with you there. I have way too much to read right now. Sure I can tell you some about my next book. It's the sequel to Midnight Reflections and this time it centers more on the warlock, Aidan, and the werewolf, Charlie. Like the first, it's a bit of a mystery, but this time it involves mummies, ghosts, and curses. It's called Dead Awakening.

What was the Ophelia & Abby series? No, I haven't read the Black Dagger Brotherhood book but people keep recommending them to me too so I figure I probably will try one. If you read one, let me know what you think.

Wel right now I'm reading All Hallow's Blood by Raven Carluck and Cara Mia by Denise Verrico. I actually need to slow down on my reading and concentrate more of writing a bit. I recently got a lot of ideas for my third book and really need to get them on paper.
