Hi I am Eire, I like to read. I like books that are engaging, have developed characters, books that I learn something from, and that make you feel good afterwords. I enjoy reading because it can offer escapism, daydreaming, a chance to educate oneself or to have guilty pleasures. I typically like retold fantasy s, self help, adventure classics, how to s, and some biographies. I tend to avoid romance or detective and modern day stories. However, I am trying to broaden my horizons by reading more of these.I like to believe my reviews help others decide if they want to read that book, so I try to explain why I did or did not enjoy a book instead of simply putting I liked it, or I didn t like it . Here is how I rate a positive review :likable characters that develop , relatable situations, suspense, research. Less good reviews are rated on filler, story goes on with nothing happening, dislikable/annoying characters stories, plot holes, or not delivering what the promised , and poor research.Basically, If it has decent grammer and spelling and leaves you satisfied or you learn from it afterwords then it is a good book. br/ 5 stars: I totally loved it. br/ 4 stars: The writer is professional, good plot grammer etc, but still leaves something to be desired. This is more personal to my feelings on the book. It means I respect the book, but it did not do anything for me. br/ 2+3: Means that I am either indifferent, I believe it could have been better ,or I have mixed feelings. br/ 0 doesn t always mean I hated it. Sometimes it means I did not read/rate it yet. br/ When I do dislike something I say it.
