How can a person have any wisdom and knowledge if he has never picked up a book? It is extremely important to learn from and teach the joys that come from and the knowledge one gains from reading. We owe it to our kids and future generations to pass down this valued tradition. I am fortunate to have come from a family that valued education and... more »

Dear Edward: I am an author from Massachusetts. My debut novel HUNTING THE KING was published in April. If you enjoy reading a good thriller like DA VINCI CODE, you may enjoy HUNTING, too. HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.” Molly O’Dwyer is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious background who’s about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heart-pounding book trailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting.

You can find it on Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think.

    Thanks. Peter.

Ok - I'm intrigued. Simply because I just found a similar experience in the books of Diana Gabaldon. I'm on book 3 of the series that begins with Outlander, followed by Dragonfly in Amber and then Voyager. This author did her homework. Has been a very, very long time since I've found a book that was hard to put down much less wanted to read a series. True to place, history, filled with believable characters ...when you're ready to try out another really engaging experience....check this out. I plan to check out your recommendation.

I just started Roses are Red, and so far I love the book. It grabs your attention right away. You should read it, if you haven't already.
