Hi Eadie! Did you see the list of pre 1950s crime novels I posted on M&S? Thank you for your input.sorry to say I could not squeeze in Craig Rice in the top 50,but I made sure to mention her in a sort of addendum. She is hardly known today.I presume The Lucky Stiff is a personal favourite,I think Trial by Fury is probably more well known to the general reader.Anyway,thanks.Personally I am very disappointed at the poor response to the list,I would have thought it would generate at least a bit discussion, but nothing! lol.
Anyhoo,I see you are in quite a few mystery groups.Do you think the list would generate a bit chat in any of them,I am very willing to have you post the list, just for a fun thread on your groups. All that effort should at least have some value to mystery fans, though we vintage fans are probably vintage ourselves! lol.
No pressure,no worries, but if you want the list I am more than happy for you to use it. Happy reading! ;0)
