    I'm glad to hear you and yours aren't anywhere near all the flooding. Mr. E has always pointed out the flat areas which were prone to flooding when we make the drive out to St. Charles. Did you get any pictures taken? We're dealing with the heat around NC. It's been so hot. Today has been another good day to stay indoors with the a/c. Poor Mr. E is out mowing. I finished house cleaning and now planning to prepare some cold plates for tonight's dinner. Think we'll just crash in front of the TV and catch a movie. Take care!

    would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
    I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    Thanks for letting me know. I am not sure when I will be able to buy any of the other ones since my hubby is out of work right now and I can't work. That is why the author sent me bks because I was going thru some hard medical issues and I have been a reviewer of these authors for yrs now. Let me know if you would love to take this off of her to our personl e-mails? that way we can talk bks and what ones we want and so on..I can talk about bks, bks I want all day :).. thanks again for letting me know about her bks....

    No I haven't read either of them. I was lucky enough and Deidre Knight sent me a box of bks and a couple of Robin's bks were in there.One was, Heart Dance, the other was Keepers of the flame.It sure put a smile on my face that is for sure. my bookshelve is print bks I own and E-bks I own. Have you read an e-book? or just print?

    Hi there! I'm sneaking looks at the shelves of my more recently active Shelfari friends. I see that you've been adding the Pern books of late. I've got a TON of Andre Norton's books on my shelves and read a lot more of her books that are not on my shelves. She was a very prolific author.

    Hi, saw your file, and think we have much in common. I too have so many books they are taking over the house! I have been on a paranormal romance kick lately, and just dicovered Patricia Briggs. I'm collecting MaryJanice Davidson, Andre Norton and Anne McCaffrey. I also read a lot of YA fiction, since I'm still raising a thirteen year old daughter.

    Hi, Thanks for the invite. I see we do read ALOT of books alike. I also "love" to read. I still haven't added all my books on yet. Two years ago I went thru and got rid of 19 boxes of books. Most were of single author books... but also got rid of complete sets of books from one author. I have a nice library of books still.. I have probably replace that number of books since then plus more. I currently reading Kim Harrison's " The outlaw Demon Wails".

    Hi,
    I'm reading it - Oprah's new love. I've read Eckhart Tolle before. "Power of Now" was great. THis one is more meat and bones - a distillation of a variety of philosophies and religions. I actually have tried to use the compassionate exercise re: people who make you upset. Eckhart's "Earth" book is pretty good, I guess. We're all looking for the answer.

    thank you for your note. I have to confess I have not watched nor read a single Harry Potter movie or book, I have not been swept up in the whole phenomenon. I am sure if I did read it then I would probably enjoy it. But I have so many others that spark my interest, I dont think I will ever get there. I a impressed with your 2027 books. I am a mother of a young daughter so I never find as much time as I would love. Anyway, nice to talk and Happy Reading.
