I'm a teacher of English, History and Science at a school about half an hour outside the Sydney CBD.

I am an insatiable reader and also love film, theatre and generally anything entertaining to my eyes. In particular, I love Science Fiction and Superheroics. I have recently taught a unit on Gothic Literature and Batman to senior Extension English students at my school, I have written published articles (for what that's worth...) on Speculative Fiction as a whole and I am fascinated by the lack of academic recognition that these sorts of texts receive.

I am a roleplayer and game master for a number of people in Sydney. I'm about to have my first child and hope to raise him/her on a steady diet of spandex and lazer guns.
