If you ever want to do a book about Florida after the Civil War there is an old book by Abbie Brooks that I found very interesting. The name of the book and her alias gives a misleading appearance but it has a lot of research value. I enjoyed Dr. Cusick's book, as well. I wish I had access to some professors. Fandino the privateer that started the War of Jenkins Ear seems more interesting than my ancestor but Jose caused less trouble. I hope your books ,do well.

I found the topic of your books interesting due to the fact I'm descended from a Spanish Florida Privateer, Jose Sanchez. The one book you have by Cusick has my ancestor Roman Sanchez. I read a lot about the era if you ever want to discuss anything about Florida history. I'm not a Romance reader but I have picked up a couple concerining Florida.

I read most of the Liaden books a while ago (I keep discovering books that I haven't added to my shelves!). I think the last I read were CRYSTAL SOLDIER and CRYSTAL DRAGON and didn't really care for them as much, so I'm not in a hurry to try DRAGON TIDE... but I'll probably go back to them at some point.
