Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread Group guidelines. The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. I hope you will enjoy the group and perhaps join in one or more of the monthly reads. Our February books are The Wind-up Bird Chronicles by Murakami and Of Human Bondage by Maugham. We begin choosing next months books about mid month.

Hahaha ik ben dus verre van een wintermens. Doe mij maar lekker de lente en de zomer, fijn met een leuke Schot aan m'n arm (ontbreekt ook nog trouwens) door Kelvingrove Park wandelen ^^ Oké, ik dwaal af.

Ik heb mijn major dingen in ieder geval gehaald, ik wacht nog op 3 minor-cijfers, en ik knijp 'em best wel voor eentje! Maar hopelijk is het een voldoende, ik ben echt met een 5.6 al blij daar voor!
Anyway, succes met al je boeken uitlezen, wees een brave student en lees alles wat je twee jaar terug al uit had moeten hebben ;) Ik begrijp dat je genoeg tijd er voor hebt ;) Ik ga braaf verder aan een van m'n essays, ik moet over 3 weken 4 essays van 2000 woorden elk inleveren, en ik heb in totaal pas 300 woorden op papier...

Goed bezig zeg! En phonology moet te doen zijn toch? Wel echt super dat je al aan je MA vakken bent begonnen :D
En lenteweer is beter dan sneeuw vind ik ;) Het heeft tot nu toe ook nog maar 1x geregend!
Ik zal je trouwens een berg boeken aanraden via dit hier, kan ik mooi nog ff SOG'en

Woehoeeee al 9 boeken, way to go :D Je kan er ook een aantal van mijn plank af plukken he, al die dingen die we voor britlit hebben moeten lezen enz :)
Glasgow is nog steeds geweldig :D En zal ik je wat verklappen? We hebben hier gewoon waar lenteweer. Ja ja, geen sneeuw voor mij :D Hoera!
Hoe waren je tentamens? En hoe staat het met je BA thesis?
