Who has time to read?? Not me! At least not as much as I would like to. I love to read, it is hands down one of my favorite pass times however, with a four year old and 1 year old twin boys finding the time to do so does not come so easily anymore. However, I am slowly but surely getting back into the swing of things and I am now back to try...more »

Hey...Dee...how r u...what's new...how are the kidz...the boys are almost potty trained...they are going to the potty...wearing underpants...unfortunately we're still working on staying dry while out...and they're still wearing a pull ups at night...Eli's pull-up is usually dry...he will state when he has to go to the potty...even at night...now Josh is a whole other story...he's doesn't like to tell us when he has to go...and his pull-up is usually full at night...even when we wake him to use the potty or he wakes up in the night...but hey it's much better than it was...and I'm just so glad they're finally getting it...thanks for all your advice...have a blessed week...and Happy Reading :-)

so sorry it's taken so long to get back with you! my twins were born 7 weeks ago, so i haven't really been on shelfari much lately, as you can imagine! i have fraternal girls, hayden and elise. we DO have similar tastes in books! my reading days may be limited now that the twins are here, but maybe i can get a good wish list together and "read' vicariously through you!

Oh I forgot to update you on "Sushi for Beginners". It was so LAME!! i did not like it. The story moves very slowly and there is no point to it. I did not like any of the characters. The title has no meaning. I don't recommend it.

I ended up reading the entire 8 book series of Sookie Stackhouse novels. They are so addicting.

Hey, dee~kay~tee, how r u....once a year...usually the week or weekend of their birthday we go to Strassburg, Pa...it's called a Day Out With Thomas...there's so much to do and see...food, trains, games, musics, vendor's galore...and there's a train museum not to far from this event...a choo choo barn...so much related to trains it's a boy/girls heaven if they love trains...the boys went for the first time on their 1st b-day...and every year they seem to enjoy it more and more...the weather was beautiful...not too hot not too cold...last year it was sunny but quite breezy...they had to wear jacket last year...http://www.thomasandfriends.com/usa/parents/dowt.html...this is the address...if you can't pull it up with that...try typing in Day Out With Thomas...I believe it's a seasonal operations...so not sure that they're always running...but visit the website and see for yourself...Happy Reading :-)
