Books have always been a part of my life. One of my favorite childhood memories is my father taking me to the bookstore every Friday. Once there I was allowed to pick out a book for the week. Usually my choice had something to do with Sweet Valley High, though! Since then bookstores have, in a way, become a place of sanctuary for me. I feel calm, relaxed, and excited about the possibility of finding a great book. Great books may be hard to find, but they are a true gift.

I love all types of book (except for Science Fiction) and my mood dictates on what I like to read. Sometimes it will be something more serious and other times I prefer something light-hearted (preferably romantic).

Discovering books of other cultures is also something I truly enjoy! « less
