How did you like Down came the Rain? I read it before I had Karlie, maybe I should read it again. I liked sTori Telling. I was on the wait list forever too. I didn't really care for her before, but after watching her reality show on Oxygen and then reading the book, I realized I just didn't care for Donna Martin, but Tori I like now!!!

I agree! I'm trying to get into the Other Boleyn Girl now. It's getting better but the length of it has me worried but y'all liked it so I'm trusting it so far.

It IS a long one. I still haven't read the Other Boleyn Girl yet because it's so long and all my other library books are shorter so I keep going for the short ones. Right now I'm still working on Firefly Lane (I might give up). Am I supposed to be reading Twilight?

    How you liking Outlander?

Tiffany's was OK. It was a very quick read and kind of a creative story but not one of my favorites. It was very girly story.

Thanks for letting me know about the writer of the week thing. I've been so busy I haven't spent much time there lately so I may have not even noticed!

I go to the library co-op website and click on the link to review my account, there is has all the materials I've checked out and the due dates, below that is my list of holds and what place I'm in for them. Does your county do a co-op too?

I haven't actually started it yet but I saw it on the Bookmobile when I was there yesterday and snapped it up. I cannot even believe the number of brand new books they have just sitting there. Sigh. I'm addicted.

I'm so glad that you read This is How It Happened and you loved it! I thoroughlly enjoyed that one too. I finished Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult a few days ago and loved it too.

You know what, the first time I picked up Savannah Blues I hated it! I didn't even finish it.. then a year later I tried it again and ended up loving it. I don't know if my reading tastes changed or what happened. I'm reading Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. It's fabulous, I'm getting the impression it's a dark gothic novel.. some similar tones to the 13th Tale.. entirely different plots but same overtone. There is something dark and mysterious that occurred and the reader is slowly finding out from the narrator. Pretty good. Members of my Anglophile Anonymous/Across the Pond groups recommended it.

OK remember a few weeks ago when you asked me about a good thriller? I just finished one and it made me think of you. You've Been Warned by James Patterson. Really good psych thriller. It's the first thing Ive read from him and I loved it.

Hope all is well with you!

Oooh yeah, very fast reading. I read it in one day. I keep meaning to review it on Viewpoints and send you the link but I'm a lazy slug and not in the mood to review anything lately. Bad, bad me.

Well I confess.... I read about 300 pages, gave up, then read the last chapter. It didn't help any though. Crazy book. I went to the Bookmobile yesterday and got a really good book called Devilish that I read in just a few hours. Couldn't put it down!
