Hello! Like many others here I'm not only a reader but a writer too. Several of my short stories have won awards. (The biggest was a second place finish in a Writer's Journal travel writing contest.) My sole published novel to date is BENEATH THE MORVAN MOON (trade paperback available from PublishAmerica; ebook available from Writers Exchange E-Publishing).
Other longer short fiction that's available for sale includeds CELLFISH WAYS (#2 bestselling dollar download in 2004; available from Echelon Press LLC); THE CLOCKMAKER (an Amazon Short); MAKING MERRY: NIGHT OF THE LIVING CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS (an Amazon Short); and AUNT CHARLOTTE (my first audio short story available from Sniplits).
In addition to writing fiction, I'm also a Senior Blogger at Families.com where I write in both the Pets and Marriage sections.
As far as reading, I tend to prefer romantic suspense, with an emphasis on the suspense/mystery/spooky atmosphere, or horror. (These are all also the kinds of things I like to write.) I'm bored with thrillers involving women agents/investigators/detectives. But so far I haven't tired of ghost stories. (However, finding good ones to read is perhaps even harder than trying to write them myself!)
I'm also visitable on the web at http://www.courtneymroch.com.
Thanks for checking me out.
