Hi, Cornette. I loved your defense of romance novels on the romance novel reader group. I also see that you have my favorite Kinsale novel on your shelf (Flowers from the Storm) and also most of the incomparable Susan Elizabeth Phillips (My fav is Dream a Little Dream.) And you review! As a reviewer, do you feel obligated to read a book all the way through even if you're not enjoying it? One of the benefits of being just a reader is you can abandon a book that just isn't working for you. After all, too many books, too little time--why waste it on a book you don't like. But when I read as a contest judge, I feel obligated to finish the book even when I don't like it. BTW, my first few books came out in Dutch but the last few have not. I guess I don't translate well [G]
