I am a total sci-fi geek who also likes biographies, history and mysteries. I love David Weber's Honor Harrington series and Peter David's New Frontier series. As you can see from my shelf and am an obsessed Whovian. I sometimes read more than one book at a time but one of them is an audio book or story of some kind. In mysteries I absolutely adore Aaron Elkins. Mostly his Gideon Oliver mysteries because of my Anthropological background. Its the same reason I like Elizabeth Peters series with Amelia Peabody. Though Kathy Reichs also has to be on that list. « less
