Welcome aboard :-) Always good to meet new, nice people. Admittedly, I don't read as fast as I used to (spend too much time online, possibly), but I'm getting through. Currently working on Vicki Pettersson's The Scent of Shadows. It's officially released in Australia on August 1st, but I think I can get it read in time.

We have 36 books in common, though I've only read 18 of them. (Actually, some of those books I sold without reading, so I'll have to adjust my shelf at some stage.) I'm so behind; my To-Be-Read pile is enormous. I actually counted it two Thursdays ago, but there've been some alterations since then ;-)

I havent read Meyers but heard alot about her esp from my niece who was the first to bring the Twilight series to my attention. The movie looks really good though so I may enjoy it since I havent read the books and have no idea what its about. It seemed like a very teeny bopper romance and I dont really care for alabaster skinned vamps LOL

hey hun, hope u r all well, i just finished reading 'evermore'-lynn viehl and loved it, im reading be still my vampire heart next- kerrelyn sparks, its the second of hers ive bought, the first i read i thoroughly enjoyed, very witty, good writing, it def sparkled, checked out ur shelf picked up a few promising reads, we have read quite a few of the same books, but u know mw the book ho, always looking for another fix lol!! luvs ya big muaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah suziexx

Well, LKH is special in a way, but I think she went overboard with Anita Blake. After Obsidian Butterly she went sex-crazed...still books I buy, but I don't think I'll re-read them soon.

Sizemore Prime Series is a bit "tacky" as well. A bit on the chauvenistic side, but not bad reads...

My favourites right now is Nalini Singhs Psy/changeling series.

If you haven't read Southern Vampire series by Harris, you really should try them, they're a blast and good books.

I like Saintcrows Dante Valentine books, a bit sad and violent (not OTT tho')

And I like the Paladin books by Alexis Morgan...a bit simple, but they are my kind of stories - you know "the one and only" type of books :-)

Hope you're enjoying Lady of light and shadow, I'm re-reading it as we speak and just love how Cheryl pulls me in to her world again with so little effort. Are you already aquanted with the new tortured dark soul that immediately captured my attention?? Don't want to spoil anything [G] And the lineage of Elly...can I say WOW!

On another note, I see you have Demon angel of Meljean Brook, did you read it yet, I'm eager to know what you think about it, I have recieved the book last week and with over 400 pahes in small letters it seems like a book that lures you in to a new world. If it is of course well written! Let me know.

Thanks for the invite! Have you read any books from Lora Leigh that are on your shelf? I have some coming my way, are they good? O and your reading Taken by the Night, sigh.... You know we can't just stop by a bookshop and buy them. We have to order them online and then have to wait till the books arrive from the USA... that is really frustrated sometimes... O and CL Wilson is great!!

Hey, that's okay... He's a Fireman and I got him to read the Kim Harrison's "Hollows" series, and now we're both waiting with baited breath for the next one to come out! By the way, have you read Kim Harrison's books?
