I'm a retired oilpatch surveyor living with Shirley, my wife of 37 years and two shelter dogs, Coco and Emmie, up against the Rocky Mountains. I now write full time.

My writing is mostly speculative fiction, either fantasy, my alternate Earth series, or novels about modern people whose worldviews are radically different to the conventional around them. (These latter are the hardest to write well, and I'm still working on two of them.)
