    Thanks Charlie, now I don't need to read the book! :P I struggle with classics, you know me :/ The only one I've ever read and truly enjoyed is Dickens' The Christmas Carol, and only then because it was drummed into my head from the time I was old enough to sit still, and by age 15 I understood it properly :P I will give Conrad's book a bash but if I don't make it, at least I'll know its premise :)

    It's a classic I guess, it has very mixed reviews. Does it also use racism to promote no racism (like HC Bosman)?
