Through some diabolical glitch at Shelfari I ended up with TWO accounts and could only sign in to the newly created one. So I've had to transfer all of my books and, more or less, start from scratch. In the process I've also lost all of my "friends" and "followers". I've tried to get Shelfari to correct the situation to no avail. They keep referring me to Amazon and the Amazon "help" people claim never to have heard of Shelfari. Hope you'll continue to "follow" me at my new location. Gunter

Oh I know - wasn't it a wonderful book! It took me a while to get my hands on it too. I'd been wanting to read it for a while before I found a(n affordable) copy. I don't understand why it's out of print! I mean, yes, it's about a certain time period - but so are lots of books that people continue to read. I was glad too because I really loved the Mists of Avalon, but have been disappointed by some other of Marion Zimmer Bradley's books and I was glad to find the same level of amazing-ness - in a very different register.

I also noticed you read the Artemis Fowl books. I'm getting a big kick out of those. At first it seemed like they might just be the same thing over and over, but they actually keep getting better as he writes them in my opinion.
