I'm a new-to-the-market vampire saga author trying to find some readers, and also books to read myself! Can I join your Facebook group? I'm also 31, with fur babies and 2 (soon-to-be 3!) young kids. I've been writing this vampire saga Blood Omen since I was in my mid-twenties, and finally got three (of five) books e-published this year! Here's the link and blurb for the first book:
BLOOD OMEN BOOK I: THE VAMPIRE WARS
How would you feel if you learned that your blood could bring about the next war that would damn or save Mankind?
And what if you knew that just seven people were all that stood between you and death?
And if those seven people were vampires?
Vampires exist and Dea, unlike most people, can see them. The vampire world is divided: there are the Ko-eks, defenders of a continued peaceful co-existence with humans, and the Apophi who want to end the age of human domination; to claim the daylight and to take control of a world they see as rightfully theirs. A war is brewing between the two factions; a war Dea's blood is prophesized to start.
Seventeen year old Dea must fight to survive in a world where even the hunters are hunted and where she is the prize. Dependent on a Coven of deadly but beautiful blood-drinkers, she begins to unravel the mystery of her past. At all costs, they must keep her out of Apophi hands. The future of the world depends on it.
Set in and around modern-day London, Blood Omen Book I: The Vampire Wars follows Dea through an exciting four weeks of twists, turns, heartbreak, horror and surprises.
Let the darkness draw you in…
DRACULA: Hearts of Stone.
Enter this world of magical vampires. It’s a place where enchantment and biters interweave for an exciting adventure.
It’s a tale of magic, romance and fangs; a tale of valor.
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.
Madman in the Mirror is delightfully different.
A very unique and well written book- MADMAN IN THE MIRROR is on a class by itself- and that is a very impressive class at that- A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished- the true sign of a great writer!!

I hope you are doing well! (i missed talking to you!)
An i'm sorry for the family drama, hope everything works out wel!
I am doing good, i had a foot infection before Christmas, i couldn't walk because of it, but it's allright now!
How are your reviews going?
''Dearly Departed'' looks awesome!
I am going to get it soon!
I am currently reading ''The vampire Voss'' by Colleen Gleason.
Having a bit of trouble of getting into it, hopefully i will like it!
What are you going to read now?
Your working on the good Anita books. My favorite is book 9, Obsidian Butterfly. After that you get more sex than story until book 17, Skin Trade. If you can stick it out it gets better. What do you think of the series so far?
BTW, thanks for accepting my stalking, um....I mean following :)
No, I have not added my book to Shelfari, for multiple reasons.
One, they are not appearing on Amazon or Goodreads yet, as I'm waiting to finalize my website and the isbn's for the rest of the books in my series' before distribution.
Two, I personally won't be doing a bunch of promoting/marketing here on Shelfari, because I will always be, first and foremost, a Shelfari Librarian on this site. I wouldn't want members to feel that I've in any way taken advantage of that position in order to promote my own books.
