Carolyn, that is one that I keep getting as well. I have no clue who they are or where they got our names? I usually just delete
it. I can't say that I have found really riveting TC either but I still have a few books to go through from Amazon. Thanks for your post.

Yes Carolyn I have too. As a matter of fact, I get quite a few invites from someone called 'pickadilly..something or other, which I
have no interest in and just delete. But let me know if they still keep coming. Hope you are good and happy reading Carolyn...

Hi Carolyn....just wanted to ask you where I post all the TC books that I brought home? On the 2012 TC discussion or somewhere else? I have them sitting on my desk but didn't want to start in the wrong discussion group. Let me know when you can. Thanks....Rita

God Bless you for that Carolyne! Yes, you helped in a big way. I didn't know that is what it meant. Now I understand and lets hope we all have a healthy and safe New Year.
    Thanks again...:)

Hi Carolyne....hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. Another question I don't want to ask on the shelf because it sounds silly, what does RIP mean when you put it in a sentence or at the end of a sentence? If you have read anything real exciting in TC let me know!!! Take care, Rita

Hi Carolyn...thanks for the post and I agree with all you just said. I do think she hates her mother more then she loved her daughter and is the reason why
she did it. As she told her brother 'maybe I am a spiteful b___h'. That says it all...now lets get on with the weekend...take care,..:)

Hi Carolyn...are you keeping up to all this crap that the defense is throwing out there? Those poor parents and all that is being said about them is so cruel but I sure hope that the jury is paying attention to this tot-mom, her demeanor which is stone-faced, and how she just crys when she sees herself on the video. What I was wondering Carolyn is there any
way we could find out which of our top-notch authors is there at the trial or at least committed to penning this tragic story? I would hope Kathryn Casey, Caitlin Rother, M. William Phelps, Glenn Puit, Carlton Smith, just to name a few would be involved. Also that awesome writer that wrote Forever And Five Days and his first name escapes me for the moment but I think his last name is Caulfied...maybe not, but you know who I mean. Any thoughts on this give me a post....take care, Rita

Hi Carolyn...I got your email as I was checking them over, so wanted to reply back. I have finished reading Dead Reckoning, The Good Son and Lost And Found which I believe I posted you and Mel about. Right now I am almost finished reading BTK, I remember Eileen highly recommended this book. WOW, being on holiday one can read alot more and I literally have NOT put this
book DOWN. VERY highly recommended. These award-winning reporters for the Wichita Eagle are the BEST! Once I have finished
this book then will read Love Her To Death. I got a few books from Amazon and had them delivered here in California and also
have the new one out called Murder At The Office. OMG, another page-turner! Thanks for the post Carolyn and will be heading back early this week. . . :)

Carolyn...just couldn't wait to tell you that I took a second glance with John Glatt's book Lost And Found and sure happy I did. I just loved it and can't think of why I got stuck the first time. I agree with this author that what happened to Jaycee Lee Dugard
more disturbing and heartbreaking then Secrets In The Cellar case. Her family was tireless in their efforts to find her and once the
dust settled, they shared with the world how Jayce survived with her amazing strength of character. John Glatt did a superb job
with this fascinating story and will post it when I get home!.....take care, :)

Hi Carolyn....I think guilty for Amanda Knox and I also think she got a fair trial. Although it was a media circus, if it had been in the USA it could have
been just as bad or even worse. No parent wants to hear that word 'guilty' but she was definitely involved and was at the scene of the crime. I really
tried hard NOT to be judgmental about her personal status and I thought this author did a very good job in presenting the facts from fiction or gossip.
Carolyn, wouldn't common sense dictate that being on trial for murder, going to court one needs to dress like a job interview? Just one of those little
tid bits made me pause and wonder what she was thinking. I would like to see her sent back to the USA and do her time in their home state and how
sad for the family to scramble around trying to fly all that way to be there for her. I sure commend them for that. Probably won't happen but it would ease some of their burden. How sad...

Great Carolyn and I feel bad about trashing someone's book so try and say as little as I can and in this case I did have to tell them I was disappointed.
I was and I think another one of his books didn't move me very much either. If that story had been written by Kathryn Casey or M. Willaim Phelps or
Carlton Smith...it would have been dynamite!...too bad but carry on and if you find a 'gem', let me know.....thanks for the post Carolyn....:)

Hi Carolyn...it is I...lol. If I am not mistaken (which could very well be) you asked me to let you know what I thought of the current tc book I was reading. It is called [.BMommy Deadliest by Michael Benson but I was quite disappointed in it because there was some un-necessary info that we
could have done without. I kept going back to what I just read to try and figure who was who....anyway Carolyn, just wanted to let you know not to
be in a hurry to get this one.But perhaps somebody else might really like it...each to his own, so to speak! . . post if you have a minute or two....:)
    take care, Rita

    Hi Carolyn:
What true crime stories do you still have? I felt sorry for Aileen Wuornos also. How was the book All She Ever Wanted? Danny and I saw the movie Boys Don't Cry and thought that Hillary Swank played a good role. My friend Linda and her husband, Bob live in Lincoln Nebraska. Linda has seen the farmhouse where Teena Brandon got murdered. She says it is an old abandoned white farmhouse. Do you still have the book All She Ever Wanted? If you would like, please give me your address and I will let you borrow the book Lethal Intent. Please write back. Your friend, Judy
