I was born and raised in New York and currently live near Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. My educational and career background have been within social services, and since early 2007, I have taken a hobby in Photography and turned it into a profession. I also enjoy writing and some of my poetry has been published.

Photographing part-time, I specialize in portrait and wedding photography though I enjoy and have the ability to photograph most any subject. I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. I mostly enjoy reading fiction, with my favorite authors being Stephen King, Dean R. Koontz, Mary Higgins Clark and John Irving.

While hesitant at first about using an e-reader, I am in love with my Amazon Kindle 3. I chose the Kindle over the Nook because of of its text to speech feature which I not only enjoy using but most of the time find it necessary due to recent health issues. « less
