I was born in Cairns in far north Queensland, Australia, and spent most of mychildhood moving around the state with my family. I even lived for a few years in Alice Springs, in Australia's Northern Territory. Dad was a teacher with wandering feet. I am a trained teacher, although I no longer teach. I write in a number of genres including: science fiction, fantasy, horror, speculative fiction, romance, suspense and crime. For the moment, I live in Australia's capital city, Canberra, a far cry from the tropical north and dry desert center of my childhood. « less
