In elementary, I discovered books to be a wonderful escape. So, I read and read and wrote. I have writen short stories, poetry, magazine articles and journal articles. Of course, I have written more essays than I can count! Before my son was born in August 2007, I read numerous books per month. Now, I have been working on the same two or three... more »

I recently read "Breaking Dawn" - really enjoyed it! Now I'm reading "The Little Book" - it's about time travel (one of my favorite subjects)! I'll let you know if it's a good read after I finish it.

Hi I am a great fan of James Patterson and I love the Women's Murder club. I was very sad when the show went away. A friend of mine's husband worked on the set and said the differences of opinion made the show get canceled. May I join your group?

I just finished Odd Hours. If you haven't read any of the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz, you've got to get them! They are my favorites of his.

Hi C C~ Very exciting about your son walking on his own...I know that's a huge deal! As much as I love hearing about all kids stuff because I love hearing them about my own nieces & nephews, but I think you may have me confused with another 'Tracy' because I do not have kids and don't know the true joy in this accomplishment. Maybe you posted the note to the wrong one....

    Take care & chat soon!

    Hey C C~
i'm glad that you enjoyed JP's book and will check out your comment on it in the group.

As far as Reunion goes...it's been awhile since I've read it so at the moment it escapes me on what it's about, but what I recall at the moment it's a two books in one....I'm sure I loved it as I've loved most of her books. I think there's been only 1 of her books that I didn't like, but like the rest of them.

    Enjoy!
    Talk to you soon!

I haven't read it yet. I saw some of the movie, and yuk! I'm more into the romance stuff and less the suspense stuff. I bite my nails and stress about the mystery. I don't find that relaxing. To be fair, I haven't read any JD Robb, or any of her more suspense/romance books. I'm doing a summer reading challenge so I might try one, as I work my way through those books. Have you checked out the Nora Roberts group?

    Hi,

I guess I just don't really like science fiction. You know with kids with wings & all. This series is so different from the others, I guess it just doesn't appeal to me.
