"Love Comes Softly" series by Janet Oak would be the kind I am talking about. Mysteries are probably my favorite. RIght now I am "addicted" to Alan Quatermain series. I find the books easy to read and very interesting. I think my favorite series to this point, is J.D. Robb. I also enjoy reading Anne Rice. « less
