I have a very varied taste in books. Prefer fiction adventure type novels. Have had a lifelong love of Capt W E Johns ...Biggles books. Unfortunately never became a brave pilot but am a quiet retired Civil Servant living out his fantasies in books. I particularly enjoy Adventure stories and have dipped into classics such as Sabatin Balzac, Victor Hugo,the Pimpernel but also later classics including Neville Shute, Dennis Whealey and I also like Pulp Fiction. I have latterly studied English Literature looking at books such as Tess of the D`Urbervilles, Wuthering Heghts, Othello in some depth. That is not to say that more modern authers have escaped my attention butbI wont list them. « less
