I have a very varied taste in books. Prefer fiction adventure type novels. Have had a lifelong love of Capt W E Johns ...Biggles books. Unfortunately never became a brave pilot but am a quiet retired Civil Servant living out his fantasies in books. Check out: "Triple Cross" by Mark T. Sullivan, "Alastor" and "Planet of Adventure" by Jack Vance, and "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. Enjoy and READ ON...

I've known Bill for many years and first saw this on Authonomy at least a couple of years ago. In fact I got to know a good many Brit writers back then and we still stay in touch. As an American, I have to shift gears a bit when reading them. I wonder if it has affected my writing as well as I tend to tell a story a bit more slowly and tease out details and backstory moreso than the wham bam thriller stuff out there in the US market.

It is indeed available on Amazon UK. I have lots of friends there and in Australia who have read and commented on the book. For some reason a thriller set in a small Arkansas town seems to appeal to many Brits. I read a fair share of work from 'over there' and guess perhaps it's the small town aspect. I hope you enjoy it! If you're set up with Smashwords you can use coupon SK73M and get it for .99 there! Cheers
