Have you heard Kerplunk, by Patrick McManus? The audio book is narrated by Dick Hill and has all the southern charm of The Help with much more humor.
Thank you for that suggestion. I'll look into it (and whether or not my library has it)!
Thank you! I might add another one soon, the one I'm currently listening to. I'll wait until I'm finished before I do, but it's looking like I'll be adding Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green to my list, as well.
Online you can go onto Youtube and hear Benedict Cumberbatch read The Metamorphosis. It's wonderful =)
Thank you. I usually listen to my audios while I'm out walking somewhere or doing housework (so on my mp3 player). If I have some time to listen to something while online, I'll remember that.
I was impressed by Peace Like a River, by Lief Enger, read by Chad Lowe. The narrator's voice really suited the book.
Oh, I like Chad Lowe; I've never heard him as a book narrator, though. I'll look into what the book is about and decide whether or not to give it a try. Thanks!
The Night Circus is another really well-done audio you may want to look into.
Thanks for the suggestion (and sorry it's taken me so long to reply - there was some kind of issue with my login and I couldn't get here for a few weeks!). Actually, I have read The Night Circus (ebook); however, someone chose it for my f2f book club this month! I rarely reread books, but I liked this one enough to do so, and just to make it a slightly different experience, I decided to listen to the audio.
Oh, good. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thanks! I hope so!
Since this doesn't update in my feed when I add another book, but does when I add a comment... here is my comment. :-)
