My name is Nathan. I live in Steelton, PA. Not much goes on in this town.

I'm an avid reader, my two favorite places to read are my porch and in front of my fireplace in the winter.

I'm a caregiver and have been since about 09'

I lead a pretty boring life and isn't much more i can think of to say.

Nah, it was a straight urban legend- http://www.snopes.com/risque/juvenile/corpse.asp

But why in the hell did I send you a note about this? I read the rest of the message and really, we go off on the weirdest topics.

There was an urban legend, usually told as "a girl in my class told me this" or whatnot. She (or a friend, usually) was dating this really cute, normal guy. They go out for a few dates, they kiss, and he invites her back to his house. She declines and respectfully, he takes her home. Over the next couple of days, she notices sores on her mouth, so she goes to a doctor get checked out. He calls her in after the tests are back and he says "Don't be offended, but have you had sex with a corpse?" Naturally, she freaks out and says of course she hadn't. It turns out that the sores were from an infection that you can only get through making intimate contact with a corpse. So they found out who she had been dating and they checked out his house and found two bodies that he had been having sex with.

    Yay urban legends!

    ROFL!

Did you ever hear the urban legend about the necrophiliac guy? (that's really not a lead-up to a joke, although it sounds like it)

Flipping through the pics right now. :)

Ugh, don't people know by now that you don't build stuff on top of graveyards? Really?

We should also watch the Silent Hill movie.

It boggles my mind because what buildings do we go in regularly that used to be something else? I think the guy said the apartments looked completely new, it wasn't as if you could tell from the outside or anything that it used to be an asylum.

Oh, are those the pics on Flickr? I was wondering what they were. :D

Centralia is the loose basis for one of my favorite game series, Silent Hill! I have heard of it, I heard also it's really small so you can miss it if you blink, but I would love to see it!

I can't believe the places people make into apartments. I read a blog awhile ago (I think I lost the link, damn it!) where this guy visited little places that were supposedly haunted/just weird, like he did visit Centralia and Lizzie Borden's house. Anyway, he had said he visited a mental asylum that was now apartments (his friends lived there.) Do you remember the murderer or the story behind it?

I think I've been to the abandonedplaces or something like it...urban exploring is cool but I feel like I would be arrested or injured, in that order. :P

I would love to see that! The Haunted Maryland book was really good. There was a ghost story associated with this random projects area right near my house, with a graveyard across the street. It was so close that it was uncanny!

I also belong to ontdcreepy on Livejournal, I just love creepy things XD
