    Hi Barbara,

    I like your lists of books and will check out your book reviews! I saw that you have The Kite Runner on your favorite books list. Have you read his newest A Thousand Splendid Suns? I just read it for my book club and like it much more than The Kite Runner. Although, I am the minority in not liking it due to the brutality. I won't spoil it by saying anything more as some may have not read it. A Thousand Splendid Suns also had brutality in it but it was different and the female perspectives were written very well. I have requested your friendship!

    Hi Barbara - I see you are going to read or have read March; I have requested it from our library as I have been hunting it for most of this year. An online friend made a comment which intrigued me about the book. Will you let me know what you think of it?

    Thanks for the friend invite! I loved These Is My Words but was disappointed and a bit bored with the sequel Sarah's Quilt. So I'm not sure if I will read the third one - the Star Garden - I think you said it was called. Let me know if you read it and how you liked it.
