I appreciated your review of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. I thought, "YES, exactly."
We've read a number of the same books but I've never read anything by the author, Graham Greene. Will have to take a look at his writing. Thanks.

After I sent you the note about Frank Muller, I googled him and found out that, as you say, he died earlier this year. Most of his work was for Recorded Books, thought I'm pretty sure he did some books for Books on Tape too.

Hello Barb--
If you can find books that Frank Muller read for Books on Tape, you'll always remember his narration. When I think of The Spy Who Came in From the Cold, and Lonesome Dove, I hear Muller. Several years ago he was injured in a motorcycle accident and was left with brain damage that ended his reading career.

'Wot' is 'what'.....my friend and I, normally shorten words while text messaging and chatting online....i didnt realise i used that style of writing here....

Hey Barb, I don't know how it works when you ask if you should read a book or not. It seems to me that it randomly sends out messages to other shelfari people that have read the book you are inquiring about. It's a fun sight, and I love your book shelf! :)
