I read what I like, and I like what I read. My personal taste in books seems to be a bit all over, anything from P.G. Wodehouse and Jane Austen to Ray Bradury. I've actually got an obsession with Jane Austen. She is my great literary love, thus I'm making my way through anything and everything about her.

I tend to stay away from most...more »

Miss D, you’ll leave me a note to fill me afterwards on what went on at Tinky’s party this weekend, won’t you? Press are banned from the premises! All my sources will be kept strictly confidential!! I’m mostly looking for dirt, to be honest. My readers want to know! Can I count on you, ducks?

    Rory Gilmore Book Club News:

I've begun some discussion topics for Part One of The Fountainhead. I found some really great questions that should get us going on good discussion threads. I hope you'll be joining in.

Also, if you do not have the introduction by Ayn Rand in your copy of the book, please send me an Admin message. Unless everyone has it, it is definitely worth it for me to type out the whole thing and get it up on the board!

    Dear Hen,

I’ve missed your participation at Anglophiles Anonymous. I hope it wasn’t something Mrs. Danvers said. Please do drop in – we’re attempting to determine our Top Ten Favourite British Novels, amongst other vital matters. And feel free to start your own discussion threads if none catch your fancy.

    Yours faithfully,

    Tinky

Too bad you didn't enjoy Crimson Rose all that much. I have to admit that I wasn't that big a fan of Mary Alsworthy in Emerald Ring, so I'm not in a rush to read Crimson Rose. I'm more interested in the Eloise/Colin thing than anything else at this point. I wonder how many more books Willig will write in the series?

Hi. I just saw your post on Anglophiles Anonymous about your "english" name of Henrietta Dorrington - from which I gathered you must be a a Lauren Willig fan? I've read all but her most recent book in the Pink Carnation series.

hello AnnaK! I like you! I am also a priky reader that has her own ways of appreciating literarure, and that's why my tastes are very eclectic! and also once I READ a book, I like it, because I don't read books I don't like... you know, 'tell me what you read and I'll tell you who you are' so I guess we have literature all over us...why stick to a certain type when there are so many different and great books in this world?
