I am someone who lives inside her head most of the time, so turning that proclivity into writing seemed like a natural thing to do. I have always loved writing stories and with my love of English history, particularly the Tudor and Stuart eras, meant my first attempt at a novel had to be an historical one.
I was weaned on Jean Plaidy and graduated to Cynthia Harrod Eagles, with stops along the way at Phillippa Gregory, Kathy Reichs, Harlan Coban and Lee Child. I like detective stories, but am not clever enough to write them.
My debut novel was released in 2007, but the pblishing house did not survive for long after so the novel and its sequel sank without trace. I the first one id being released under a new title, The Rebel's Daughter in summer 2011 by MuseItUp Publishing
