GULLIVER'S CHILDREN is an unpredictable Young Adult yarn in the grand old tradition of science-fiction adventure. (Think Andre Norton or Edgar Rice Burroughs) It tells of a young alien girl whose ship crashes on Earth. There she finds that civilization has collapsed and the Earthlings have become barbarians. She fights to stay alive as the Earth people try to hunt her down. Will she ever be rescued from this hostile planet? (Rated PG for some strong language and violence.) The book cover by Fiona J. was inspired by covers of old-time science-fiction magazines.
LIBERATION's lovers, Rama and Bess, are portrayed in my profile picture, from my e-book's cover, created by Linda Ballard. This is a very old fashioned romance, inspired to a great extent by paperbacks of the 1970s. A dashing teenage Arab immigrant fights to rescue his girlfriend from her abusive family in this exciting and heartwarming story.
The publisher of ROMANCE AT HEART PUBLICATIONS, Rose Brungard, is a wonderful lady who's been a big help to me. LIBERATION was originally published by Melissa Wathington and Rae Lindley when they were running Lavender Isis Press. I'm eternally grateful to them for giving me my start, and though Lavender Isis no longer exits, I'll never forget the year I was published by them.
